ABA to Donate $50k to Hurricane Milton Relief Efforts in Florida

WASHINGTON, Oct. 11 -- The American Bankers Association issued the following news release on Oct. 10, 2024:

The American Bankers Association today announced it will donate $50,000 to help aid recovery efforts in Florida in the wake of Hurricane Milton. The Category 3 storm left a path of destruction across the state, resulting in significant flooding, power outages and tornadoes that claimed at least four lives. Hurricane Milton hit Florida less than two weeks after Hurricane Helene . . .
