AKWESASNE, New York, April 25 -- The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news:
The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) has pledged $50,000 to the Haudenosaunee Nationals Development Group, Inc. toward their dream of achieving Olympic success.
The last time lacrosse was featured as an Olympic sport was in 1908 at the London Summer Olympics. During this time, only men's teams participated, as lacrosse was not as well-know . . .
