Ariz. Democratic Party: Republicans Rigging Future Elections With Passage of S.B. 1485 After Losing 2020 Elections

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 12 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release:

SB 1485 is a voter suppression bill that seeks to purge more than 200,000 voters from Arizona's vote-by-mail system, the Permanent Early Voter List (PEVL). This controversial bill passed the Senate without a single Democratic vote and was immediately signed by Governor Ducey, despite his earlier admissions Arizona's elections were secure.
