Cherokee Nation Contributes $2,500 to Oologah Senior Citizens Center to Help Feed Families During Thanksgiving, Support Youth Program
OOLOGAH, Oklahoma, Nov. 17 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
Cherokee Nation recently contributed funds to the Oologah Senior Citizens Center to cook and deliver a Thanksgiving meal for up to 80 senior citizens so they can stay in this holiday and protect against the spread of COVID-19.
A portion of the contribution is also supporting the center's Goodworks skill-building program for high school stud . . .
