ACLU: SCOTUS Rejects GOP Effort to Force Rhode Islanders to Risk Their Health to Vote During COVID-19

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Aug. 14 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island issued the following news release on Aug. 13:

In an important win for voting rights, the Supreme Court today rejected efforts by the Republican National Committee and Rhode Island Republican Party to try and block RI from eliminating witness/notary requirements for vote by mail in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
