Washington County Cherokee Nation Association Celebrates Opening of New Community Center
OCHELATA, Oklahoma, Oct. 8 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
More than 150 Washington County Cherokees were on hand Oct. 3 to celebrate the opening of the Washington County Cherokee Association's new community building.
The new building was constructed with community work grants awarded by Cherokee Nation Community & Cultural Outreach and community assistance funds from the Council of the Cheroke . . .
