Navajo Nation Council Votes to Support US Senate Bill 788 'Equality Act'
WINDOW ROCK, Arizona, Sept. 5 -- The Navajo Nation Council, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
The Naabik'iyati' Committee of the 24th Navajo Nation Council voted Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 to support the United States Senate Bill 788 the "Equality Act."
SB 788 will expand and clarify the protections and remedies against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex in the areas . . .
