Congressional Black Caucus Issues Statement on 65th Anniversary of Historic Brown V. Board of Education Ruling
WASHINGTON, May 17 -- The Congressional Black Caucus issued the following statement by Chair Karen Bass:
Today marks the 65th anniversary of the historic Supreme Court ruling Brown v. Board of Education. This ruling determined that segregating schools on the basis of race was "inherently unequal" and therefore unconstitutional.
