'Women at War' Wins Album of Year Award

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin, April 17 -- The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news:

"Warrior Songs Vol. 2: Women at War," which featured a song written by Tribal member Shelly Nichols, won the Album of the Year award on April 14 at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards event held in Milwaukee.

Nichols, a Navy veteran, wrote "Warrior Wings" about her experiences serving in the U.S. Navy . . .
