TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma, March 13 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
The Cherokee Nation honored five military veterans with the tribe's Medal of Patriotism during the March Tribal Council meeting Monday.
