Colyer & Republicans Hurt Kansas Families & Economy With Anti-LGBTQ Adoption Law

TOPEKA, Kansas, May 18 -- The Kansas Democratic Party issued the following news release:

Gov. Jeff Colyer's enactment of SB 284 makes it legal to use taxpayer dollars to discriminate against LGBTQ families and significantly hinders our state's adoption services. This abhorrent action damages our state's economy, our image around the country, and the livelihoods of Kansas families.

Everyday Kansans will be hit with costs familiar to residents of states such as North Caro . . .
