Chickasaw Nation Offers One-Day Environmental Classes to Teens
ADA, Oklahoma, March 16 -- The Chickasaw Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
To prepare the next generation to be good stewards of the land, the Chickasaw Nation will host outdoor environmental education classes for youth 8 a.m. to 5 p.m March 20 and 22 as well as April 4 and 5.
These Yaakni' Apiisachi (Caretakers of the Land) day hikes are open to the public at no charge, available to students age 13-16 with a Chicka . . .
