'Forbidden: Undocumented and Queer' to Show March 1 at UNK; Film's Subject to Appear for Q&A

KEARNEY, Nebraska, Feb. 22 -- The University of Nebraska-Kearney issued the following news:

The subject of an award-winning documentary about undocumented immigrants and challenges facing LGBT people will be in Kearney for a showing of the film about his life.

"Forbidden: Undocumented and Queer in Rural America" will show at 6 p.m. March 1 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney's Nebraskan Student Union. It is free and open to the public.
