Chickasaw Council House Museum to Host Feather Art Class
TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma, Feb. 20 -- The Chickasaw Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
The Chickasaw Nation will host a feather art class 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Council House Museum, 209 N. Fisher. The class is open to the public at no charge and supplies will be provided.
Participants will paint and decorate feathers while learning about the use of feathers in Chickasaw culture. Seating is limited to 15 peop . . .
