Cherokee Nation Donates $26,000 to Adair County Organizations, Park

STILWELL, Oklahoma, Feb. 15 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:

The Cherokee Nation donated more than $26,000 total to three Adair County organizations and the Adair County Park on Tuesday.

Cherokee Nation Deputy Chief S. Joe Crittenden, Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. and Tribal Council Secretary Frankie Hargis presented checks to the representatives of the Adair County Park, Stilwell Public Libra . . .
