The term "public service" has broad meaning when it comes to the Frank Press Public Service Award, which the Seismological Society of America created to honor outstanding efforts on behalf of seismology and public safety. Sen. Markey Introduces Bill on Establishment of Clean Technology Consortia (10)
WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 3135) to "provide for the establishment of clean technology consortia to enhance the economic, environmental, and energy security of the United States by promoting domestic development, manufacture, and deployment of clean technologies."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 19. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
