WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 2323) to "require the screening of 100 percent of international mail and express cargo inbound into the United States from high-risk countries to detect and prevent the importation of illicit fentanyl and other illicit synthetic opioids."
