Peace Corps Director Jody Olsen Visits Montenegro, Albania to Launch New Program (10)
WASHINGTON, May 7 -- The Peace Corps issued the following news release:
Peace Corps Director Jody Olsen and Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Pazin signed a historic agreement May 6 establishing a new Peace Corps program in Montenegro, the agency's 142nd country of service.

Sen. Markey Introduces Bill on Opioid Analgesics (10)
WASHINGTON, May 9 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 1366) to amend the Controlled Substances Act "to require the Attorney General to make procurement quotas for opioid analgesics publicly available."
The bill was introduced on May 8 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
