DeGette Introduces Bill to Block Feds From Enforcing Marijuana Laws in States Where Its Legal (10)
WASHINGTON, April 1 -- Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colorado, issued the following news release:
U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) introduced legislation today that would prevent the federal government from enforcing its prohibition on marijuana in states, such as Colorado, where it is legal for residents to possess and use the drug.
