WASHINGTON, July 24 -- The U.S. Department of Energy Geothermal Technology Office announced that it expects to award up to six cooperative agreements for renewable energy research and development. The estimated total program funding available was cited as $3.6 million with a ceiling of $700,000 for each award in the program. The agency said the grant was associated with energy. The funding is open to state, county, city, township and special district governments; independent school districts;  more ST
