WASHINGTON, July 3 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved Oklahoma's updated air permitting program, finding the State Implementation Plan revisions comply with Clean Air Act requirements.

WASHINGTON, July 3 -- Power Performance Enterprises, Tulsa, Oklahoma, submitted a public comment letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency urging the retention of the proposed Tier 4 emissions standards postponement and recommending a thorough reassessment of the Tier 3 and Tier 4 regulatory frameworks under Clean Air Act Section 202(a). The entity called for a rollback to Tier 2 emissions standards while proposing a technology-neutral safe harbor for in-use vehicles that can demonstrate Tier 2-equivalent emissions performance.
