WASHINGTON, March 1 -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has submitted a public comment letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services urging the agency to withdraw its proposed rules aimed at regulating drug pricing. These proposals, known as the Global Benchmark for Efficient Drug Pricing (GLOBE) and Guarding U.S. Medicare Against Rising Drug Costs (GUARD), seek to establish price controls on a wide range of Medicare Part B and Part D prescription drugs.
