WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 (TNSFR) -- The University of Alabama Museums has completed its inventory of Native American human remains and objects, determining they have a cultural affiliation with several Indian Tribes. A total of 40 individuals and 17 lots of funerary items will be repatriated to the Cherokee Nation, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, the Chickasaw Nation and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
