Alabama Artifacts Set for Repatriation to 5 Native American Tribes (10)
WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 (TNSFR) -- The State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, has announced its intention to repatriate 112 cultural objects to five Native American tribes. The collection of artifacts, which includes a gorget fragment and various stone tools, was identified as unassociated funerary objects collected from a burial site in Morgan County, Alabama, during the mid-to-late 20th century.
