GAO Denies Protest Over DLA Tire Chain Contract (10)
WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- The Government Accountability Office has denied a protest filed by Warfighter Focused Logistics Inc., of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, regarding a contract award by the Defense Logistics Agency. The delivery order for vehicle tire cross chains was awarded to Vehicle Maintenance Program Inc., located in Boca Raton, Florida. Warfighter Focused Logistics had argued that the agency improperly bypassed its existing long-term contract and conducted a flawed evaluation.

GAO Dismisses BioneX Protest Against U.S. Air Force Award to BFrench Consulting (10)
WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- The General Accountability Office has dismissed a protest filed by BioneX LLC, a small business based in South Fulton, Tennessee, regarding a contract for strength and conditioning specialist services. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Air Force to BFrench Consulting LLC, of Cape Coral, Florida, for services to be performed at Aviano Air Base in Italy.
