WASHINGTON, July 21 -- The House Rules Committee issued a report (H.Rpt. 119-151) on a resolution (H.Res. 489), which aims to provide for the consideration of several bills, including those prohibiting non-citizens from voting in District of Columbia elections, requiring D.C. to comply with federal immigration laws, addressing law enforcement discipline in D.C. and the HALT Fentanyl Act. The report was advanced by Rep. Erin Houchin, R-Indiana, on June 9, 2025.
