WASHINGTON, June 1 -- A coalition representing numerous counties in Arizona and New Mexico has submitted comments to the U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service, advocating for the rescission of the current regulatory definition of "harm" under the Endangered Species Act. New Mexico Environment Department Urges Second Draft of Federal Stormwater Permit (10)
WASHINGTON, June 1 -- The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) has submitted extensive comments on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) proposed 2026 Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activities. NMED is requesting that the EPA incorporate public feedback and issue a second draft of the permit for further review and state certification, citing the numerous substantive and unanswered items in the current proposal.
