FCC: CenturyLink to Retire Copper Facilities in Boulder, Colorado (10)
WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- CenturyLink, an incumbent local exchange carrier (LEC), has filed a certification with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to retire copper network facilities in Boulder, Colorado. The retirement is in response to a county prohibition on continued use of aerial facilities in the area.
