Highmark's True Performance Program Tops $4 Billion in Avoided Costs (10)

W.Va. Supreme Court of Appeals: New Magistrate Appointed in Logan County (10)
CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Dec. 5 -- The West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals issued the following news release:
LOGAN, W.Va. - Seventh Judicial Circuit (Logan County) Chief Judge Joshua Butcher has appointed Burley E. Ferrell to serve as a Logan County magistrate beginning January 2, 2025.
Judge Butcher made the appointment on December 2. Mr. Ferrell will replace Magistrate Dwight Williamson, who resigned effective December 31, the end of his current term.

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Dec. 4 -- The West Virginia Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
Travel on the West Virginia Turnpike exceeded expectations during Thanksgiving week, the West Virginia Parkways Authority announced.
The estimated number of transactions on the Turnpike was 715,000. The actual number of total transactions was 754,405.
