WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release on Dec. 2, 2024: An Oregon man was sentenced to prison today after he previously pleaded guilty to assaulting law enforcement and other offenses during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol.
