European Commission Finds Estonian State Aid to Agricultural Company Tartu Agro AS to Be Incompatible State Aid (10)
BRUSSELS, Belgium, Nov. 26 -- The European Commission issued the following news release:
The European Commission has concluded that by renting agricultural land at a rate below market price to Tartu Agro AS, an Estonian private company producing among other things milk, meat and cereals, Estonia granted support not in line with EU State aid rules.
Estonia must now recover the incompatible State aid, including interest, from the beneficiary.

GWU Media Tip Sheet Bird Flu Detected in Raw Milk (10)
WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 -- George Washington University issued the following news:
Bird flu has been discovered in raw milk sold in California. It was detected during testing of whole raw milk from Raw Farm, LLC. Raw milk, which is not pasteurized, does not go through a process that kills bacteria and viruses.
There have been no reported illnesses.
