DOH Reports Travel-Related Dengue Virus Case on Oahu (10)
HONOLULU, Hawaii, Aug. 17 -- The Hawaii Department of Health issued the following news release:
The Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) has identified a new case of travel-related dengue virus case on Oahu, bringing the number of total cases to 11 identified in the state in 2024 (one on Kauai, three on Maui, seven on O'ahu). The affected travelers were exposed in various countries where dengue is common.
