WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 -- Rep. Kweisi Mfume, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Today, Congressmen Kweisi Mfume, David Trone, Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Jamie Raskin, and Glenn Ivey (all D-Md.) introduced the Robert E. Lee Monument Removal Act to remove a monument of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from Antietam National Battlefield.
