Miller, Mooney Introduce Bill to Rename the Clarksburg Federal Courthouse in Honor of Judge Irene Keeley (10)
WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 -- Rep. Carol Miller, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) and Congressman Alex Mooney (R-WV) introduced legislation that will rename the Clarksburg Federal Courthouse as the "Irene M. Keeley United States Courthouse". President George H.W. Bush appointed Irene Keeley as the first woman judge for the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of West Virginia. Judge Keeley has served in this position for over 30 years.
