BLS: Montana Had the Highest Hires Rate in October 2023 (10)
WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 (TNSrep) -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following document from Economics Daily:

Montana had the highest hires rate in October 2023, at 5.4 percent, followed by Alaska (5.2 percent), Delaware (4.9 percent), and West Virginia (4.8 percent). New York and the District of Columbia had the lowest hires rates, at 2.8 percent each. The hires rate is the number of hires during the entire month as a percent of employment.
