Bethany Students Pinned as Kalon Leaders (10)
BETHANY, West Virginia, Nov. 8 -- Bethany College issued the following news:
Bethany College's Kalon Leaders Scholarship is an annual competitive award with students selected based on leadership, character, service, and academic performance. On Tuesday night, the new first-year Kalon students were initiated into the program at the annual pinning ceremony hosted by president of the Kalon Scholars Gracie Gonzales '24, as well as the other executive members of the program and the faculty advisor.

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Nov. 8 -- The Public Service Commission of West Virginia issued the following news release:
A major component for attracting business to a state has to be the cost of fuel for industrial output. While those rates have increased in West Virginia since the turn of the century, they still remain competitively low compared to every other state.
