INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, Dec. 7 (TNSbook) -- The Indiana University McKinney School of Law issued the following news:
Mark Shaw, J.D. '72, has published his latest book, "Fighting for Justice." The work is based on Shaw's 15 years of research into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and the deaths of actress Marilyn Monroe and journalist Dorothy Kilgallen.

Sen. Markey Introduces Bill on Crypto-Asset Mining (10)
WASHINGTON, Dec. 10 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 5210) to "require an interagency study on the environmental and energy impacts of crypto-asset mining, to assess crypto-asset mining compliance with the Clean Air Act."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

Sen. Warren Introduces Bill to Address Claims Relating to Treatment Received by Civilians at Military Medical Treatment Facilities (10)
WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 5173) to "amend title 31 and title 10, U.S. Code, to address claims of the U.S. Government relating to certain treatment received by civilians at military medical treatment facilities."

Sen. Warren Introduces Bill to Ensure Funding for Programs for Native Americans (10)
WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 5186) to "ensure progress toward the fulfillment by the Federal Government of its trust and treaty obligations to Native Americans and Tribal governments, to ensure funding for programs for Native Americans and Tribal governments."
