WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that it expects to award up to 23 grants for Rural Energy for America Program energy audit and renewable energy development assistance. The estimated total program funding available was cited as $1,864,000 with a ceiling of $100,000.
