WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation, through the Federal Railroad Administration, seeks applications for the FY27 National Network Cooperative Agreement to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, commonly known as Amtrak. The grant has an estimated total funding of $309.6 million, with the entire amount allocated to support Amtrak's operating, capital, and debt service needs until January 31, 2030.
