WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- Arizona ranks second among U.S. states for the value of nonfuel mineral production, generating $10.4 billion in 2025, according to a new study based on data from the United States Geological Survey. The figure represents 9.28% of America's total nonfuel mineral production, placing Arizona behind only Nevada, which recorded $12.6 billion.
Texas followed Arizona with $10.2 billion, meaning the three leading states together accounted for nearly 30% of the count . . .
