WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the National Institutes of Health, seeks proposals for the Somatic Mosaicism across Human Tissues Program: National Somatic Mosaicism Commons Data Analysis & Organizational Center. This initiative aims to enhance understanding of somatic mosaicism, a genetic phenomenon occurring when a single organism contains cells with different genetic compositions.
