WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the National Institutes of Health, invites proposals for the NIDA Avenir Program aimed at advancing fundamental mechanistic research in addiction science. With an estimated total funding of $3 million, the program will provide awards of up to $375,000 across an expected five projects.
