WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- The U.S. Department of Justice, through its Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced the availability of funding under the BJA FY 2026 Byrne State Crisis Intervention Formula Program. This initiative is aimed at advancing the Department's mission to enhance public safety and uphold the rights of American citizens through effective crisis intervention measures.
