WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce, through National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - ERA Production, invites proposals for the National Bycatch Reduction Engineering Program (BREP) for fiscal years 2026 and 2027. This initiative aims to support innovative engineering solutions that effectively reduce bycatch in fisheries, thereby promoting sustainable fishing practices and conserving marine ecosystems.
