WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Labor, through its Bureau of International Labor Affairs, has opened funding opportunities aimed at safeguarding the American seafood supply chain. The initiative focuses on countering unfair labor practices and addressing challenges posed by illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing.

Grants will be awarded at a range of $11 million to $11 million to support projects that enhance the resilience and integrity of the seafood supply chai . . .
