WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Justice, through its Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced funding for the BJA FY 2026 Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Site-Based Program (COSSUP). This initiative aims to support the development, implementation, or expansion of comprehensive responses to the pressing issues of overdose deaths and the improper use of illicit opioids, stimulants, and other substances.
