DOJ seeks applications for BJA FY 2026 Kevin and Avonte Program

WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Justice, through its Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced a funding opportunity aimed at reducing injury and death among individuals with dementia and developmental disabilities. The BJA FY 2026 Kevin and Avonte Program will provide grants of up to $150,000 to eligible applicants, which include units of local government as well as healthcare agencies working with affected individuals.
