WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Centers for Disease Control, has announced the availability of fiscal year 2027 funds to support initiatives aimed at enhancing state capacity in alcohol epidemiology and preventing excessive alcohol use. The initiative, officially termed CDC-RFA-DP-27-0072, will provide a total of $12.0 million across approximately 12 anticipated awards.
