WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 -- The U.S. Department of Justice, through its Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced a funding opportunity for the OJP FY 2026 Special Attorneys Program. This initiative aims to bolster state, local, Tribal, and territorial prosecuting agencies by enabling them to assign or hire qualified prosecutors.
