WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- The U.S. Department of Labor, through its Bureau of International Labor Affairs, has launched a funding opportunity aimed at combating forced labor in global supply chains. The Freedom Shield: Global Forced Labor Import Prohibition Initiative seeks proposals from organizations committed to addressing and eliminating the import of products made with forced labor.
